Just a quick post to announce more quick posts will be coming soon. I took quite a break there. Over a year! I think once I got back from my last big trip, I felt like there wasn't much to say. Dallas is boring. Then I just got out of the habit of even thinking about writing and that was that.
Since then, however, I've done some more traveling and things are changing. I'm back in Denmark as of the 1st of April and as it's always been when I'm here, there are stories to tell. I'll post one directly following this post just to prove my resolve. I'd like to go back and cover some of what's happened in the last year, but I don't want to dwell too much. We'll see.
I wonder how many blog posts have covered this same topic, or started out "Sorry I haven't posted for a while, but I...."?
Well, sorry I haven't posted for a while. I hope there's still someone out there reading this.

Last Day
As I type this I'm in Copenhagen on my last day in Denmark.
I left Viborg yesterday morning. I'm fully ready to get home, but there's also a little sadness too. I'll miss people here and the place it's self as well.
I had a great last day of teaching! My students baked me a cake with my face on it... licorice for the beard and such. They also gave me a couple of parting gifts, a knitted hat (a very Danish one) and a little horn for the scooter back home. It was great. Half of them had to leave right after class to get on a bus for Copenhagen. The scene outside was like kids heading off to college or something. Lots of bags and goodbyes... sad but fun.

Later, I and a few other people from the school had a really wonderful dinner with Morton and Michelle. Then there was a party for a couple of birthdays and more fun after that well into the morning. I didn't sleep at all, but that seemed about right for my last day.
In Copenhagen I was greeted by riots and a semi-police state. I'll talk more about that in a later post. For now I'll just say that it's pretty crazy here, but it looks worse on television.
Once I'm home, I'll be able to send out pictures and tell a little more, but I'll head out now to walk around and take a last look around.
Goodbye Danes... I'll be back.
